Who says old school is bad? Here is a fine idea: Weighing our public officials!

Mayor Rob Ford once made a public pledge to shed 150-200 pounds or so, and would appear for weekly weigh-ins and photo-ops with the press corps. The industrial scale outside the Mayor's Office was quietly wheeled away two months later when he hadn't lost any weight.
