That is what it sounds like. Are they building furniture up there? Any ideas?

9. My late husband and I used to hear loud thumping noises coming from the condo next

to ours and it always sounded to me like they were rearranging furniture. We later found out, after they moved out, that the man had been beating his wife. We felt terrible about it.

what it was. Someone told me the drug dealer downstairs got robbed and beat up. And of course he could not call out for the police. Creepy all around.

It makes my cat jump too when the big thuds happen. I can't decide if they're slamming a door or dropping heavy furniture or throwing heavy things at the walls. It's really weird because it happens a lot.
