(28,394 posts)Crikies, we were in the 80s just last week. And if the leaves are still on the trees, you have the possibility of power outages.
Good luck, I_T_W. Hope it misses you.

(72,300 posts)It's out to get me. But, as sick as I was, I made it out yesterday to buy candy We've gotten over a hundred trick or treaters every Halloween since we moved here.
I would never do this except at a party Brussels sprouts in chocolate http://time.com/4546087/chocolate-covered-brussels-sprouts-halloween/
Stay warm and dry, femmocrat.

If you give out chocolate-covered brussels sprouts, you will not have as many trick-or-treaters next year! But you could end up with more tricksters!

(50,387 posts)Actually, I like a good cover song. They are often better than the original.
Lately I've been collecting unusual covers...

(17,504 posts)Covers are a crap shoot, but there are a few that beat the originals. I do like to cite the originals when I know them, though.

Dang shrinkage.
Best of luck on your weather.
And, you can make a snowman as big as you want.

(72,300 posts)It changed over to rain this afternoon. Unfortunately, it didn't wash all the slush away. Walking the dog may feel like dancing on an ice skating rink.
It's times like these that I truly appreciate Mr ITW. He is still here while the snowman will be gone with the morning sun (like some of my old boyfriends).
