Damn. They say it comes in threes. First, Trump's inauguaration, Second, the Cadbury Oreo egg

is not sold in the USA. What will be the third shoe to drop?

The Oreo Creme Cadbury Egg Is The Greatest Thing Not Sold In America

You might think that the Creme Egg is one thing that just can’t be improved upon. The wonderfully thick, chocolatey shell with that tantalisingly sweet fondant centre is just beautiful. Seeing those little purple and red foiled nuggets of happiness on sale in January is possibly one of the only things that get you through the winter blues.

The Creme Egg is undeniably one of Cadbury’s greatest ever inventions. Well, it turns out that there’s another equally delicious flavour exists and it’s here for your pre-Easter delight. Cadbury have just revealed a new Oreo-flavoured egg. That’s right: the same chunky shell, only this time packed with delicious Oreo cream and biscuit. Instead of the easily tearable foil that we all know and love, these eggs come in some futuristic plastic cup construction which no doubt protects the egg from any potential bumps and cracks.

OK, it’s not exactly news everywhere – Canada has been chomping away on these for at least a year. But the point is that you can now get your hands on these bad boys right here in the UK. Slightly bad news is that the big, normal Creme Egg-sized ones are only available across the Atlantic. However, bags of small mini-egg sized Oreo delights are on sale here right now. I had a pack from W H Smiths last weekend and damn, they were REALLY GOOD.

We’ve heard the phrase Make America Great Again so many times it’s become a parody upon a parody at this point. But if The Donald really wants to MAGA, he grabs those Cadbury sons of bitches by the balls and gets a plant in the US of A churning these bad boys out the ASAP. For too long Cadbury has been able to just go about their business creating beautiful chocolate concoctions all quietly in England like some real life Willy Wonka. If they want to sling those glorious eggs (both regular Cadbury and mini eggs) over here, they are going to have to let us wet our beak with the good stuff. And how about Canada having these bad boys for more than a year and not sharing with their powerful neighbor to the south? Selfish and dangerous if you ask me. I’m not sure what the point of winning the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812 (criminally underrated) was if we don’t end up with dibs on treats like this. If Trump wants to set the tone for his Presidency with a great first 100 days, figuring out how to get these Cadbury Oreo Eggs in America will be at the top of his list.

In the 80s I was hitchhiking from Paris to Lyon and some guys picked me up and offered me a ride. Unfortunately, there was no floor in the back of their Citroen. I had to scrunch up on the seat and watch the road go by. Terrifying ride.
