MSU squandered a BIG early lead against the greatest team ever. But they hung tough and won the game. Let me just say, "WOW!"

Mainly because they lost 3 players in the top 3 picks of the 2016 draft and their stars were Sophomores. In the beginning of the season "experts" were predicting a down year since they weren't returning any All-Americans and they had some close games against tough competition. By the time the tournament started though the "experts" were claiming them winning another title was a sure thing.

They trailed UCLA by 6 at halftime, They beat Florida State by a last second shot and close games against Maryland and Notre Shame. Also Baylor and South Carolina were semi close games. They had a lot of blowouts because they play in the American conference which isn't a tough Women's bball conference (the conference was designed with football in mind). But they had a 3 point win on the road in Tulane.

I saw this coming mainly because they lost 3 players to the top 3 picks of the draft.

Maryland was actually talking about having another crack at them they forgot about Oregon.
