Mine? Clowns don't scare me. Never have, at least not since I was a toddler. Honestly I don't even understand the fear.
I should perhaps add that Stephen King's It doesn't really scare me, either.
Well, except the kids' sex scene in the sewer. That part part creeped me out more than a little.

(16,992 posts)Not water moccasins but I like the rest of them. I was chased repeatedly by moccasins when I was a child so it's kinda personal between us now.

(21,839 posts)I don't hate it but I don't understand why some people have to have it.
Orrex
(63,169 posts)I don't mind it and certainly won't complain if it appears in some other food, but I don't seek it out.
Not sure what happened, exactly.

(15,682 posts)over chocolate. Though I love white chocolate. When it comes to ice cream or milkshakes, it's vanilla. But then it's a fruit smoothie over a milkshake every time. When I was a kid I let my sister eat the scoop of vanilla ice cream out of my cone. I ate the cone.

(11,686 posts)Well, OK, I am afraid of some humans. I am not afraid of dying either.

(36,413 posts)Good thing, since I don't have a dishwasher. When I was a kid I'd come home from school, play with my friends, then do my chores & help Mom with dinner. Dishes were the last task before doing homework. We had a big farm kitchen & my mom had a stereo player in her sewing corner, so I would play records while doing dishes.

Well, as far as I can remember, I've never held a 67-year old female, but the night is young.

(8,747 posts)I knew some Shriners who were clowns when doing some of their Shriners stuff. They were all "hail fellow, well met" types.

(90,758 posts)I had night terrors for years as a child. The "it" in the dark that you can't see but know is there can trigger memories.
Yeah, that pre-teen sewer sex was not a proud moment for King. I "get" the transition from innocence to no longer innocent, but ...icky.
I still enjoy reading the book and will see the new movie. I know, I know.
What makes me not seem human?
Hmmm
Some people think I can read minds. But it's more a case of what they are about to say being obvious and being able to read people.
Still, I have creeped a few people out. lololol
The Velveteen Ocelot
(115,576 posts)I crouch low and slink closer and closer until finally I pounce; then I grasp my victim with my claws and administer the killing bite with my sharp fangs. When the prey is dead I bring it to the creature who loves me, and I await the praise I deserve.

(17,246 posts)But based on your other posts about your challenges at work, you probably fear, or at least regret, being in IT sometimes!
As for me, I love Donald Trump. He's already the greatest president in history.
(Not true at all, but that would make you believe I'm not human, right?)
