So many conspirators that it is hard to know whom to trust.
Last week on Homeland there was a rally "Not my President" because a Limpdick-type radio host was spreading rumors about her and her son who died in Iraq. And used a bot (?) to show how many quickly viewed a fake news. There is a whole building dedicated to fake news. And "Saul" said that he'd seen it before: in Chile and many other places where the CIA was behind fake news and violent protests.
And at some point one cannot tell a friend from a foe. A real nasty person who was going against the president elect actually saved her life..
Similar with Designated Survivor - one cannot know whom to trust.
I was thinking that last week, both programs, also Major Crimes, ended with major explosions that left us, the viewers, to wonder who was killed and who was survived.
Just scary.
Perhaps I should watch Dancing with the Stars... Nah. There are always the books. Fictions. Away from reality.
Sigh..

(22,051 posts)is one of the best new shows to come down the pike in a while. Fast paced, smart. In some ways it reminds me of The West Wing.

I have to wait for Homeland to come out on Netflix though. Did they have a woman president? Quantico also has a woman president. Progress on TV at least!
question everything
(47,467 posts)All the episodes, until the last one, are about the president elect. Yes, a woman. But, apparently, after the eight one, when the president elect was not Hillary, the producers/writers changed direction.
