In the new MST3K episodes, what is the "payload" that Gypsy is delivering and retrieving?
In the the 1st episode, Gypsy delivered an object into the theatre, from overhead, near the beginning of the movie and retrieved it near the ending.
I'm watching the 2nd episode now and Gypsy has delivered what seems to be the same object into the theatre.
Did a guick Google search, but only found out that the object is referred to as "the payload"
Have I missed something? Does anyone know what "the payload" is or what it's purpose is?
