I've heard more than once "OK, but can your cat protect you from a burglar or mugger?"
When I get that F1 Savannah, yes, yes it can.
Not sure I can think of a dog I'd put up against a cat that big, lord knows I'd pee my pants and run away. Not only can it eat my face, it can do it while I'm standing.

(9,886 posts)However, as an owner of a regular domestic cat with who is naturally well-behaved with normal curiosity and a love for climbing, I'm not sure I want a cat with higher intelligence and greater need for stimulation. Even my little cat, I can imagine the damage she could wreak if she were so inclined. That large cat looking for fun? I don't think so.
