No matter the MAX you love somebody, there's always *something* you don't like: take BOURDAIN

I love him. Yet it just dawned on me right now while he's on the air, it's irritating this one little bit:

He's been all over the world, is undeniably a broad minded, all comprehending citizen of the world. But when he's having his guests "explain" their own culture to him, he's always like, "Yeah yeah, I *knew* that."

*Did* he, really?!1 So why did he need to go over there?!1 And why bother to host anybody for anything?!1

to be if you are interviewing someone on radio or tv. And someone like Larry King can do it seamlessly because he has been on radio or tv his whole life. Bourdain is a relative newcomer to journalism. He's a natural. Very interesting is very hard to consistently do. And he does it.

He doesn't like garlic presses. What in Sam Hill is wrong with garlic presses? Sure, sometimes you want crushed or minced garlic, but sometimes you want that nice juice you can get when you press it.

5. Separately from him, is the current "kewl" put-down of CILANTRO of all things!1

Now, is this thing an HERB? who knows, but it is UNOFFENSIVE, is a (garnish?) that is not supposed to be made a BIG DEAL about!1 Yet these people on morning t.v. are thinking it chic to say they hate CILANTRO so much!1

It's got a FRESH zest to it, supposed to be in small quantities, can't imagine anybody grabbing a BUSH of it, is just supposed to be *slight* accompaniment to the star components on the plate.

Yet comedians or whoever all of these kewl personalities are, who are SO famous, feel the need that they detest the very thought of CILANTRO!1
