I don't think I ever want to do the Magic Kingdom and Disney's California Adventure ever again...
Certainly not with four rambunctious grandkids and two laissez-faire parents...
Anyway, back home where I belong, in my library, not listening to my grandkids fighting and squabbling...
Tonight, I sleep in my own bed, the sleep of the angels...

(66,316 posts)We were getting the kids ice cream at California Adventure, and plain old soft-serve would have been fine, and one of the g'kids even asked for plain soft-serve. But their mother, my step-daughter, insisted that we get the expensive stuff from Ghirardelli's. She ordered them two scoops each. For four kids, I had to take out a second mortgage to pay for all that ice cream. They ate half of it each, then threw the rest away.
I had some nostalgic fun on Pirates Of The Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion. But that was the extent of my enjoyment.
Ugh...

(34,195 posts)Two of my favorites. Also Country Bear Jamboree, if they still have it?
I lived in southern CA for about 20 years.
All visitors from around the country wanted to go to Disneyland.
I got so sick of it.
