Ripple told the judge Tuesday that heart surgery left him depressed and unlike himself before he robbed the bank. He had no criminal record, was a good father to four step-children and was in a stable relationship with his wife.

Ripple's public defender said he has since been properly diagnosed, is on proper medication and feels like his normal self again, the Kansas City Star reports.

she left why should she be the one who has to leave. I would be worried about him hurting her if she stayed.
