1. Yep. I hear it in my head too often for my own good.

We took preteen girls to Boston's KISS concert and this song was in the car, in the parking lot, on the PA system, and on stage.

They're into this lip-syncing site called musical.ly (which I monitor at the request of my daughter, their mother) and this song is a favorite of millions. (They even suspend their disdain for Justin Beiber over it.)

Funny thing is, I speak Spanish, and my mind wanders to double entendres that I wouldn't want the kids to understand. I like the song but I know that this too shall pass.

2. Well, Macarena was in for far longer than I expected.

I enjoy dancing to salsa but this is just a tad slow for my liking. I'm thinking that a line dance could keep it kicking around for a while longer.
