And a friendly reminder that the IRS will NEVER call you and ask for money over the phone.

Always verify who is calling you.

1. Before I got caller ID, I loved getting the tech support calls, while I was watching 'Law and Order'

I'd turn up the TV volume and set the phone down, next to the speaker. Then I'd leave it to Jack McCoy to deal with the problem.

Now, if I don't recognize the number, I don't answer the phone. It is AMAZING how many people who call me, don't ever bother to leave a message.

2. I've gotten royally irritated with our own Democratic party for that

The contractors used by Hillary and the DNC deserve to be fired and I told them that.

4. I was surprised that I never got even one phone call, last election 'season'

Not from the DNC, not from the Hillary campaign. I normally would get a 'don't forget to vote' call, on election day, but this year- nada.

5. You may have been put on their do not call list

I've done that to some organizations that I donated to but then they kept calling a few too many times.

If the DNC does it too many times, I'll ask them to put me on their do not call list. They send a ton of mail and emails too.

8. I always got calls from the local campaign headquarters

I've never asked to be put on a do not call list.

The Sanders campaign called, before the primary, but afterwards - nada.

I did disenroll from the DNC emails because I found their strategy to be ridiculously "click-bait"ish, and I told them so. I had forgotten about that, so maybe that was the trigger for them not calling, but not the local headquarters.

7. That douche bag has shared the personal numbers of his rivals

like Lindsey Graham during the campaign.

If anything, jamming up his phone might keep him from tweeting for a bit.
