1. I had a co-worker who had a son with albinism.

After I got to know her I became sensitive about how these precious children are portrayed as adult, almost always evil and freakish. My friend's son had poor eyesight due to his albinism and few friends in school. He was so sweet yet bullied daily. Broke my heart.

It always disturbed me the "Albino as freak" genre.

2. The smaller of the two girls doesn't appear to be albino

Just an ordinary blond girl with blue eyes and red lips.

3. Semi-albino

The red lips are because of blood circulation, not pigmentation. The blue eyes are because they have a tiny bit of melanin, hence semi-albino.

That little girl looks a lot like my sisters and me (with shorter hair, though) at the same age, which is what made me respond. Notice also that she has her eyes open unlike her sister.
