Has anybody here gone on the Piero della Francesca Trail?

I went from town to town on the Trail, visiting places where this artist painted. It was on a tour especially designed for art lovers who love his work.

It was interesting going from town to town where he had worked. I loved that every town had a belfry that would mark every hour of the day. We were in Sansepulchro, Arezzo and Cortona. The bells were muffled at night . I wondered what it must be like for people going through their day hearing those bells...
