We are so very lucky they have relatively short attention spans.

You have a lovely kitty; I adore meezers. Yours isn't a baby. Is the shirt protection for stitches? We had to keep ours in shirts after surgeries a couple times. Our teeny tiny Siamese eventually came to want her shirt (for the warmth - at 5 pounds, the surface of the sun might have required a cardigan) but our larger lad never got over the shame of being clothed.
