Ok massage experts...help settle a debate

So tonight was registration for our son's elementary school. My wife, the most amazing PTO mom, was working registration and helping parents through the process, so the actual registration process fell to dad. After registration, my son and my teenage daughter went to my mom's for the night and my wife and I treated ourselves to a couples massage. Enter the conundrum and hopefully you fine folks can provide some insight.

When one is partaking in a massage, do you remove your undies? My wife says "Take off the bra but leave the undies", but I've always been more on the commando side. So, who's right here? Is there even a right or wrong?? FYI, we both agreed that late evening cocktails after a great massage are a must!!

Do what makes you comfortable. I personally go commando so they do not have to pull my undies down while hitting my lower back and sciatic nerves. But if your wife wants to keep hers on by all means let her.

4. Honestly, and I should have clarified this in my post

I have no issue with her choice to keep her bottoms on! She was busting my chops tonight and called me a "weirdo" for going buff, thus the impetus for my silly post. Neither of us cared one way or the other, it was just a silly banter between the two of us....honestly I couldn't care less either way, but I'm secretly hoping more folks say "Commando" so I can say "See!!! I told you so!!"

17. Most massage therapists will give you stink eye for calling them masseuse/masseur.

But they generally don't care about underwear, back hair or zits. Just don't grab, don't ask for a happy ending, and tip 20%.

I'm being dead serious, never have. I suppose that highlights how clueless us guys can be!!!! FWIW, see my earlier reply, I couldn't care less either way! My motivation for the post was more of a silly discussion than anything. Mainly because my wife called me a weirdo for dropping trowel!! Lol!

My old sports medicine guy hated when we'd do that to him.

I'd love a good vigorous sports medicine workup. The trainers used to be able to fix so much, granted we couldn't walk for an hour, but after that it felt so good.

15. The only one I ever had

was an upper body one I won in a raffle on a cruise ship. She told me to go in the room and remove all my clothes, get under the sheets and lie face down on the table so I did. Even though I only won an upper half massage she did mash on my feet a little bit.

It never occurred to me to not take off my underpants. It did occur to me that I hoped she really mean "all" since I wasn't actually wearing any underpants.

But she came in, massaged me expertly for half an hour and barely even tried to sell me any ointments and unguents. It was the best thing I ever won.
