The movie was shown to us at least that often and I loved both the book and the movie.

4. They had some nice 1940s film noir flicks on last night. One with William Powell as Phillip Marlow

6. I played Bertram Cates in a local production over twenty years ago.

The actors playing Drummond and Brady in our production were so powerful, forceful, and accomplished, it was like watching the real Clarence Darrow and William Jennings Bryan, these two titans, going at each other. it was breathtaking to watch.

An extraordinary play. I loved being a part of it.
