(18,402 posts)Or "Águas de março," in Portuguese. I include this in 1972 because it was written and first recorded that year, by Antonio Carlos (Tom) Jobim. (This definitely could have gone in the "Bossa Nova" thread as well!). But the greater version is from two years later, in 1974, with Jobim and Ellis Regina recording it as a duet. I also include a pretty nice version in English from 1975 by Art Garfunkel, so you can catch the English lyrics (also written by Jobim). I love, love this song.
