Sometimes, I listen and watch again. It is fun because I see those people are having fun. And, the people in the orchestra, they too are having fun. Look in their eyes. Those playing the instruments know they are playing true classic music, for all to hear. That is all who happen to be in the plaza that day. I am not sure if they players in the orchestra realized that tens of millions more would enjoy this too. (as of today, over 70,000,000 views)

this beautiful music has outlasted Napoleon, Mussolini, Franco, Hitler, Stalin, Nixon, Reagan, G.W. Bush, and it will outlast Trump and his merry band of monsters. Occasionally we all need to be reminded that the world is full of beauty, wonder, and magic.

My very, very favorite. Ode to Joy. So soaring, uplifting and exuberant. Can anyone help but smile hearing this? My mood is lifted, my energy is up now, and I'm "fired up and ready to go," to borrow a phrase.

and I love it every single time. It's the best flash mob I've seen and you can't beat Beethoven's Ode to Joy.
