Challenger raises more than Wasserman Schultz, but she has more cash for home stretch

See what local unions are saying about DWS in the video below!

By Anthony Man

Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz raised far less money than her Democratic primary challenger, Tim Canova, brought in during the most recent fundraising quarter, but he depleted his advantage with heavy spending.

As a result, Wasserman Schultz entered the final two months of the campaign with more money than Canova.

Newly filed reports with the Federal Election Commission show Canova took in slightly more than $1.7 million from April 1 through June 30. But he spent about $1.2 million, which works out to almost 70 percent of what he raised.

Wasserman Schultz raised about $1.3 million during the same three months. She husbanded her resources, spending $546,000. That works out to 43 percent of what she took in during the second quarter and less than half of what Canova spent.

1. Usher DWS Out The Door - NOW

The DNC needs to get rid of DWS, and the quicker the better. She's a liability and has done next to nothing to promote the party. Local and state judgeships have gone Republican, and too many states have been lost to Republicans due to the lack of a cohesive long term party plan. While the Republicans have systematically taken over states and sucked on the dick of ALEC, the GOP controlled states have gerrymandered ad nauseum, removed education as a national priority, gutted the EPA at every turn and given all of the proceeds to the 1%. And where was Schultz while all of this was happening? Absent without leave, that's where. Fight back? Hell no.
GET HER OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Sincere enough?)
