On this day in Labor History the year was 1906. That was the day the world lost a great champion of woman’s and worker’s rights, Susan B. Anthony.

Born in 1820 in Massachusetts to a Quaker family.

Susan B. Anthony is most well-known for her tireless campaign to secure the right to vote for women.

Amazing how things change -- but don't change.

I was just thinking how these people worked so long ago. Then I thought about just how long has it been? When I was a child, I frequently visited my grandparents and great-grandparents. They were all born in the 1800's!

In just 3 generations, we know people from 3 centuries!

History really is all around us!
