1:15 PM -- Breakdowns of 1941 (1941)
This short film presents a blooper reel containing clips of various movies from 1941.

This patriotic short film features a filmed broadcast of the Command Performance radio program, featuring such Hollywood stars as Betty Hutton and Lana Turner.

This short film contains three unique segments, involving materials testing, Air Force physical exams, and winter swimmers.

An Englishman who resembles the king of a small European nation gets mixed up in palace intrigue when his look-alike is kidnapped.

Nominated for Oscars for Best Art Direction -- Lyle R. Wheeler, and Best Music, Score -- Alfred Newman (musical director), score by Alfred Newman.

Douglas Fairbanks Jr. initially wanted the double role for himself and actually tested for it. He was devastated when it was awarded to Ronald Colman. Instead he was offered the part of "Rupert of Hentzau" and, according to David O. Selznick, "Nobody else stood a chance!" His father, Douglas Fairbanks convinced his son that it was a blessing in disguise, as it was the best part in the piece, and advised him on billing and costume.



7:45 PM -- Alex In Wonderland (1940)
In this comedic short, things take a turn for the worse when an unwanted relative comes to visit his sister in the city.

Cast: Jane Gilbert, Joe Devlin, Eddie Foy Jr.

The chicken (Mildred) that Alex gives to Mr. Swinnerton and that winds up laying and egg is actually a rooster.

10:30 PM -- Death Rides a Horse (1969)
A young gunman rides for vengeance against the crooks who killed his family.
Dir: Giulio Petroni
Cast: John Phillip Law, Lee Van Cleef, Luigi Pistilli

The original title of the film was "Duel in the Wind." Lee Van Cleef came up with the Italian title while discussing the movie with John Phillip Law who sighted the film was a "man to man" story. Van Cleef remarked, "Why don't they call it 'From Man to Man'?" The Italian producers liked how it sounded in Italian ("Da Uomo a Uomo&quot so much they used it. And then the film was subsequently retitled "Death Rides a Horse" in English speaking markets, which Law said he never liked.

An idealistic patriot hires a gunman to lead the fight against a crooked mine-owner.

Jack Palance plays a character named "Curly". Palance later won an Oscar for City Slickers (1991), in which he also played a character named "Curly".
