TCM Schedule for Wednesday, September 12: Star of the Month: Lauren Bacall

I have to say that although I've enjoyed a number of films made early in Lauren Bacall's career, I have a soft spot for a British TV movie she made in the 1990s, A Foreign Field, in which she played a mysterious woman who meets up with three veterans (Leo McKern, Alec Guinness, John Randolph) during their pilgrimage to Normandy 50 years after D-Day.
