I had just bought Walter Beckers new CD and the four of us went fully prepared to participate in the lines: "The Cuervo Gold... the fine Columbian... make tonight a wonderful scene!"

We had tickets to see them on the first tour.
It was to be at North Central College in Chicago's SW suburbs.
In the middle of the tour, and a couple weeks before our show, they decided to quit playing live. Canceled the rest of the tour & didn't perform live for 19 years!
I didn't even play guitar back then, but I so wanted to see the guys that played "Reelin' In The Years"
& "Do It Again". Alas,...

Of course, Aja is a target rich album.
That's Bernard Purdie on piano. SD always pros' pros playing on the records.
