...in Los Angeles at the Greek Theater in a kind of warm-up show before they played at Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco for "The Last Waltz" Scorcese movie which was filmed on Thanksgiving Day, 1976.

I had never heard of Leon Redbone before then, but enjoyed his performance quit a bit. The Band was pretty good, too.

RIP Leon.
