1. Awesome band.

I was a member of a rock band when they were prominent. I loved them.

Unfortunately, we never became famous.

3. I played in a band 10 years after B Springfield that included Dewey Martin...

...the drummer of Buffalo Springfield -- called Scott Thomas Lowe & Atascadero.

I own the drum kit that Dewey used to record "For What It's Worth" and all of the other songs Dewey recorded with Buffalo Springfield.

He also played with Patsy Cline, The Dillards, The Standells, etc, w/these drums - when he recorded.

Camco drums, Oaklawn (IL) badges, circa 1964, originally sold to Dewey by the Professional Drum Shop, Hollywood CA, which still exists. Also modified by the PDS by adding heavy-duty Pearl tom mounts.

I have used this drum kit throughout my musical endeavors over the last 40+ years.



Plus an electronic drum kit which I really like which sounds pretty real, but not as real as Dewey's Camcos.

7. Yeah, I have a weird life...

...the first time I met Leonardo Di Caprio he was maybe 4 years old.

His father George DiCaprio was my friend who got me a job doing artwork for an underground comic book for Timothy Leary.

It was called Neuro Comics.

My son slept in the same cradle as Leo -- George handed down the cradle to me when my son was born in 1981.

8. Big Buffalo Springfield Fan

I particularly like Young's Expecting To Fly. A wonderful and haunting tune.

9. That song is from their last album, titled Last Time Around

I own two copies of it; one I bought in the late 70's and the copy from my sisters collection, which is the copy I first heard as an eight or nine year old girl. I love that album. One of my favorite songs ever:
