2. I never did get a'what I wanted ... but still I get what I need ... as I said before that whole LP

Doesn't have even one just-average song. None.

In fact, it's pretty much top-to-Bottom GENIUS.

As was Bring the Family.

5. "I was gonna get off my barstool

Just as soon as I could figure it out"

His music really turned a corner when he stopped drinking.

If I wrote a song as good as "Seven Little Indians" I'd feel like I could never do better.

3. This shoulda been the best Stones record of the 80s -But John wrote it 1st

I enjoy the jangly rhythm guitar and strat through a tube amp sound of this record, classic.

But I promised I was done... And now I wanna post some more.

What the hell...

My wife is at a dinner party with the local Oba-san tachi eating great food and drinking Sochu with umeboshi, and I am ALONE

11. I rememberr buying it and putting it in my car cd player (6 disc box in the trunk -Technology!)

But it didn't stick. It was replaced with anew purchase soon after

A couple years later I dug it outta the stacks listened again - I liked it much more.

He may have been too far out front with that record and the rest of us kinda caught up later...

9. I almost make myself cry

when I break out the old Guild and play "Back of My Mind". So much to make me miss my dad, standing at the foot of the stairs calling to me and my siblings and singing Roy Acuff's "The Precious Jewel" in his worst singing voice to roust our hind ends from bed.

Enjoy!
