Hiromitsu Agatsuma - Kaze (The Wind)

So beautiful.

When I first heard Samisen I thought it was a rather limited, kinda corny folk instrument.

But the more I heard it, the more I loved it.

I spent 10 of my 24 years in the Air Force in Japan, and this instrument is something that stayed with me.

I was in Japan for 5 years as a USAF Brat (1957-1962), and developed a great love for the samisen and shakuhachi (bamboo flute), along with most of the rest of the culture. I hadn't heard of Hiromitsu Agatsuma, but definitely will add this to my collection.

Namaste
