It's the same kinda people who claim to be chosen,
their ears made of stone and their tongues made of poison,
and the doctrine they preach has got nothing that they can teach me.

in any song that I think we all search for the most relevant comparison -

and since he's singing a country tune with an acoustic guitar and not much else we immediately think of Johnny Cash.

I like Colter quite a bit, and I'm positive he's honored by the comaprison
