Bitterroot
By Amy Martin. This is one of my go-to songs when I feel tired and blue and achey. Somehow it helps.

Lived on Woodlawn Avenue. Best place ever to grow up in. Really miss the zoo town.

I知 feeling like I知 in the twilight zone, LOL! Small world!
P.S. every summer I used to climb up that butte to the top....could see the whole city from the flat rock area on top... |

7. Yes! Taco Time was the best. It's a Blackjack Pizza now. Sigh.
Small world to be sure!! Obviously I still live here...😏
I loved that flat rock area on the top of the butte. Bitterroots grew there in the spring and prickly pear cactus in late summer. I used to run up there and spend the day so I could escape my mom making we work in the garden. My parents lived there until 2009. I know folks that still live on Woodlawn to this day. This is crazy! What would be the odds? I知 betting we know a bunch of the same people. |
