He and his friends are really talented.

Their version sounds like it's based off of Del McCoury's version:

There's some incredible kids out there. I went to Wintergrass last month, and one of the professional bands brought up an 11-year old girl up for the last song, and she totally nailed this fast bluegrass guitar break.
