Just heard these guys play live

right beneath my apartment.

I live in the heart of the downtown district of my city. These guys were freaking awesome!

First time I've ever even heard of them: The Heavyweights Brass Band. Managed to track them down on youtube.

This was the song that really got my attention when they played it:

Over the course of the trip, The Heavyweights participated in parades, performed at Ooh Poo Pah Doo, caught shows by several local bands and spent hours recording new material at Word of Mouth Studios.
