Run To You - Glennis Grace (a truly amazing cover) ... WHITNEY LIVES!!

Glenda Hulita Elisabeth Batta (born 19 June 1978), better known by her stage name Glennis Grace, is a Dutch singer from Amsterdam. In 2005 Grace represented the Netherlands in the 50th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest and in 2018 she appeared on the 13th season of America's Got Talent and made it to the finals.[1][2]

In 2017, the Ladies of Soul performed three nights in a row in a sold-out Ziggo Dome. How that looked like? You see it here! For more information and tickets: www.ladiesofsoul.nl

But, there is just something missing that Whitney had in spades. I don't get the goosebumps and chills from the emotion I got from Whitney's best performances.

A very high threshold for any singer to achieve. That said, I think this singer does have a bright future--probably brighter if she finds more unique music that showcases her own strengths and can avoid the comparisons.

This post has me wanting to find that Whitney "best" DVD I have somewhere though.

... even though she had problems of her own, I will always blame Bobby Brown for everything that led to hear death. It didn't have to be that way.

We are very fortunate to have had her with us. So much wonderful music and beautiful melodies... so many happy memories to cherish. It's been quite a while since I've played one of her CD's that I own, but I'll frequently get Alexa to "play some Whitney Houston" on my Spotify account.

I'm also giving her points because she's a fellow Gemini. Whitney will always have a special place in my heart, though. No shade to Glennis Grace. She is fantastic in her own right.
Thanks for sharing another great singer with us, NurseJackie.
