I discovered Karen Lovely a few days ago thru a compilation of blues ballads.

I love her voice. Why isn't she more known?

Well, here in Europe, I never heard about her? However, she has her supporters here.

Unfortunatly, I do not catch all the lyrics when she sings. I tried to find the lyrics but they are not available for this song.

I love your post! I work with Karen Lovely in Europe. Karen’s songwriting and music strongly reflect her personal experience and make her stand out as a musician. Being a survivor herself she is an activist and advocate against domestic violence as well as sexual assault and abuse. She also never gets tired of fighting for equal rights, self-determination and free speech. She uses her exposure as a musician to draw attention to these topics. I will support her and buy her albums. Great voice, great music, and I expect great texts too. This is why I'd love to have the lyrics.

It is easier for me to understand. Karen is what we call in French, une chanteuse à textes.
