Mike Marrone (The Loft) retires
For satellite radio fans of The Loft, the holiday season has meant scrambling to stream the station as the idiots who run SiriusXM removed the station from the satellite in favor of...Eagles radio (remember them??).
The Loft was due to return on January 2 after a six week absence. Today, the idiots announced that the Loft will not return until February 1, at the earliest as they continue to beat off the listeners of the Loft.
To compound the loss of the station in the car and on satellite home devices, the founder, chief cook and bottle washer, and Director of all things Lofty, Mike Marrone, has apparently decided to retire after a long career in radio broadcasting.
I won't belabor my disgust with SiriusXM, it's an easy cancel after all.
