they were playing too well.

Was to be the first night of many touring, opening for Zeppelin but were fired that night.

Their manager was a prick.

My brother was drafted in in late '69. After landing in Vietnam he met a guy who said he was a musician back in the world and that his band (guess who) had just finished their first album when he was drafted. I forget the guys name now but after getting home my brother bought the album and sure enough the guy was credited on it-how's that for luck-just before the band took off his ass was shipped to the far side of the world...I often wonder if he survived and if so how the rest of his life went.
