(3,395 posts)63 was the year I graduated from high school.
I lived in Farmington, Utah about 3 miles from Lagoon.
All of my friends and my sister worked at Lagoon, so I was able to get in free to most attractions and events.
I watched the Beach Boys numerous times at Lagoon. They were there almost every year for 5-6 years.
They did a song called "Salt Lake City" (20 miles south of Lagoon) because of the huge crowds and response they got at Lagoon.
Thank you so much for reviving those memories.

(11,583 posts)You're very lucky to have those memories. I would've loved to have seen them in their heyday. The problem was I hadn't been born yet. I've loved them since I was little. I'll post more Beach Boys videos soon.

It was a great venue, and a great time of my life.

(11,583 posts)Thanks for providing the link. I heard the Beach Boys song driving home from work today and thought it would be a good one to post. I usually only like Christmas music in small doses. This year I've been listening to a lot more of it on the radio and posting songs here almost every day this month. I think its mostly because of nostalgia and remembering happier pre-Covid times.
I was born in the early 70's but enjoy music from all eras. I'm thinking of posting Mariah Carrey tomorrow.
