But with more modern recording equipment.

Speaking of that, man, I wish Hendrix had had the Beatles $$$ back when he was making his first couple albums ... I'd KILL to hear them recorded using the very best tech of that era ... cause really they sound pretty shite, sound-quality wise and there WAS better tech if you had the $$$.

Anyways, it's great tone for the type of tone it is ... i.e. classic fuzz-box effect.

brevity thing ...

Is Clapton on that one too? Seem to recall the first Stills solo album was historic in it's combination of players ... thinking it was only recordings w/Clapton & Hendrix together?

To me, the below vid illustrates really what an absolute MONSTER Stills was on the Guitar, and how AMAZINGLY WELL he could sing and play at the same time ... that shit is NOT easy. And the solo starting at 4:45 is friggin jaw-dropping, total Steve Howe-level shit.

I LOVE this vid ... of course any serious 70's music fan has seen it already but ...

Yes on the Epi.... But other than that, I'm a singer. All's I need is a microphone, my wardrobe, and my ego.....
