Question/Ride My See Saw

The Moody Blues were inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame this past weekend.

FINALLY!

Rest In Peace, Ray Thomas, who passed away this past January. At least he knew before his death that the Moodies had been inducted into the Rock Hall.

My parents liked country, which is fine, as a guitarist & songwriter they gave me an appreciation of country greats like Johnny Cash. Also watched a ton of Grand Ole Opry.

And if you see/hear John 5 (still playing with Rob Zombie I think) you'll appreciate how awesome really great country guitar playing can be ... even though I'm mainly a heavy metal/hard rock shredder ... or at least that's what I think ... I'm really not that good ... but I'm still a sucker for heart-rending melody.

So, growing up listening to the Moody Blues ... they made an impression on me & they still influence my songwriting.

They were truly great & they deserve this. Kudos for them!
