Bands with the most members ever.

The Waterboys 85
Santana 71 by my count
The Fall 43
I would have thought Chicago would be up there but I only count 31 members.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Waterboys_members
Over 85 musicians have performed live as a Waterboy.[2][3] Some have spent only a short time with the band, contributing to a single tour or album, while others have been long-term members with significant contributions. Scott has stated that "We’ve had more members I believe than any other band in rock history" and believes that the nearest challengers are Santana and The Fall.[4]

Over the years you replace both the head and the handle. Is it the same axe?

Here is a list of bands with no original members. Is it the same band?

The Outlaws (Green grass and high tides) which currently lists only 6 members but 43 former members (Wiki). They played in Guilford NH about 2006 with I believe 6-7 guitarists a saxophone in addition to minor players (organists and drummers and such) and each of the 7-8 main guys got their own solo on "Green Grass"!

I was watching a video last night about bands that don't have any original members, and I think the guy said there've been over 200 different people in that band.

I'll see if I can find the video...

Well, that was easy. And he said "almost 200" so I don't have a specific number.

The Blood Sweat And Tears part starts at 3:56

I made a joke about the Waterboys etc and he (music guy) said BST.
I counted 170 I think on the WIKIPEDIA page for them.
