Then I saw them perform at the Rock Hall induction last month and thought, hey, these guys are pretty cool! And I fast grew an appreciation for their sound..... sorta that new wave punk with giant hooks. I remember 'em back in the MTV era but I guess for a while they were just a radio staple in my mind. So now I like 'em, go figure!

Flooded the radio back in the day and while not the best out there they did help combat the insidious rise of disco that was so pervasive they used it in commercial advertising.

I love rock and roll, disco and rap/hip-hop are not listened to in my house, I don't like most country music either.

But that's what's great about music, there's something for everyone, my favorite thing is hearing a song from my era I've never heard before.

I've become a fan of groups I knew existed but didn't really listen to at the time, I'd much rather listen to great older music than newer talentless tripe.

Rock On
