Bob Matthews- #1 roadie and GD recordivist, died in September.

He recorded some of the great early stuff -67-73 for the Dead. He was brilliant in getting the Live sound....

Mailing list for tickets and they never spent a dime on advertising. Deadheads did the advertising for them.

I grew up just down the road from the Mothership in Hampton. I only went to 4 shows I think but when the circus came to town it was a blast for everyone. My brother saw several hundred shows. His first ticket was $5 I think.
