(30,978 posts)It was a great show! Ive always liked his music and was delighted when he moved to our town. For a few years he had informal jam sessions at the club a few blocks away from his house. He bought an old bank building on Market Street and lived in the top floor with his wife, also a musician and artist, the bottom floor was for violin repair, and he used the vault to store rare instruments. The symphony plays at the grand opera House just across the street. He had a great outdoor concert once at the riverfront it was called Big Noise. I have met him and talked to him in the course of my job as a photographer. Really nice guy and fun to talk to.

(24,288 posts)The album with KK on the Empire State Building, Pretty sure it's that one. Dave was a brilliant studio session guy. Not only could he blow your mind with his guitar, but he could explain the situation, without missing a beat, in normal conversation. Like this.
