Roger Miller...I had a giant poster of Roger Miller on my bedroom wall
when I was a pre-teen.
We always wanted to see Doug Sahm and the Sir Douglas Quintet
and in 1980 we saw the band at the Palladium in Hollywood !!!YAY!!!

(1,613 posts)I did get to see a later version of Emmy and Hot Band at Telluride in the mid 80s.
Burritos with Gram. I saw an unofficial reunion of the Burritos and it was awesome! (Chris, Bernie and Al with Jerry Scheff and Herb Pederson)
Had the chance to see Martin, Bogan, and Armstrong but didnt and have regretted it ever since.
Also saw Muddy Waters twice and had the chance to meet him but I didnt and have regretted it ever since.
And Leonard Cohen. Any tour, any year.

I honestly can't think of any favorite bands I didn't see, though. Maybe Deep Purple with Gillan as the singer. I saw them with Coverdale, or Genesis when Peter was still with them. I saw them up at Alpine Valley when Phil was the singer & Chester Thompson was the "other" drummer.
