Had a cool Moody Blues experience today

It snowed a bunch last night and my procrastinating butt had to go to the grocery store today. I had nothing but a can of tuna and some condiments in the house. Anyhoo, I don’t have the 4WD any longer so had to take the Corolla. The road in front of my house looked clear but very wet.

At the end of the driveway, this song came on.

It mirrored my drive- anxiety at the start because I didn’t know if the roads would have icy patches and didn’t know how the Corolla would do.

When I started to relax, the song slowed. Driving through the forest with the trees still draped in snow was beautiful. The music was perfect. I was singing my heart out.

Then, when I got to the river, where the sun comes through to the road, the music sped up again. Even one of the big “Ba DAHHHs,” hit right as the sun filled my car. It was so cool.

Been enjoying their musical genius since the 1960's.

At least I think I have, I took the wrong color acid while grooving to "Days of Future Passed" one time and things have never been quite the same since.
