I saw them at large and small venues. I had to back against the bar for them to squeeze by one time. brewens Jan 2022 #7

Can’t believe one of the greatest American Rock bands isn’t the hall. What planet are the hall voters from. BOC’s music is just to intelligent for them I guess. 💀🤙

I am. I think I hear Burnin' For You the most. I do wish they would play a little more variety of their stuff on my local station.

I have seen them 3 times and of course each time they did this song, but they never had an intro like this. The best time, they had the Godzilla clips on a huge screen behind them, it was really cool.

I agree, it is a travesty that they aren't in the Hall.

It was awesome! Blowing smoke and roaring, then the drummer started throwing sticks at it and stuck one in it's nostril! LOL That dude was really good, but it was too bad Albert Brouchard left. He had a lot of talent. Could sing and play guitar too.

Agreed on HoF.
They're a great band, they were all really nice guys! The four of us first met him when I was a junior in HS, and I was the oldest. We hung around with them backstage again over the following 4 years and they remembered us & were just as pleasant & welcoming as ever.

Bloom and Dahrma are little dudes, but giants of rock to me! Last time was at our fairgrounds about 14 years ago right after Lanier retired. It was too bad he wasn't there because that show, they really played a lot of the early stuff. That was great for my buddy I went with, because he hadn't liked the later stuff near as much.

Lanier was so great! He could really play guitar too. He has that last solo on Red and Black. Most bands would have been happy with him as lead guitar.

But, Buck's (he goes by Don) playing is unique.
All those modal lines in a rock tune.
The solo on "Reaper" is almost all in locrian or dorian mode. Not many rock guitar players think that way.
