Grateful Dead, Kezar Stadium, 1973 (full show)

I was at this show. The bill was, from bottom to top, The New Riders of the Purple Sage (with Jerry), Waylon Jennings and the Dead. Funny thing was I didn't know what Jennings looked like. And I remember falling asleep from something or other (ha ha) during the show for a while.

But for some reason, this recording has not been released by the Dead to my knowledge. And it's a great show.

at the Fairgrounds that I attended. They were the only act. The sound mixing at that show was (to be charitable) a joke.

The sound on that video was not what we heard in the audience. They board was on stage, and while it may have sounded great on stage, vocals, and lead were muddy in the audience.

I remember that the weather was absolutely PERFECT that day. It was hot and sunny, but about every 20 minutes a cloud cover would come over for about 5 minutes and cool it off just enough. Perfect!
