(We Don't Need No) Fascist Groove Thing

Hi, first ever post in this group! Thought I'd share a moldy oldie, Heaven 17's (We Don't Need No) Fascist Groove Thing. It was a popular song back in my college DJ days, during the Reagan era. I think the time is ripe for a re-release, don't you think?

Politically conscious synth pop, what a concept. “Let’s All Make a Bomb” was a good tune.

Crushed By the Wheels of Industry is another good one.

Now I'm going to have to go through my music collection and find songs that are relevant again. Are you familiar with the group Consolidated? Very political industrial hip-hop might come close to defining them. I used to have a CD of "Friendly Fascism" but sold it long ago. Now I wish I had it again!
